Bop Along To Squad Harmonix’s Cover of Chromeo’s, “Clorox Wipe”

The all-kids a cappella performance group, Squad Harmonix, feature their Junior Squad, the younger members from their training academy, for their cover of “Clorox Wipe.”Originally released by popular electronic duo Chromeo, the adult-themed track was cleaned up by Squad Harmonix who turned it into a catchy little number fit for the whole family to dance to while staying safe through this pandemic.

“During the summer we held our online vocal training summer camps where kids learned how to sing, harmonize and beatbox, and featured in our official music videos. This was done completely remote and in the safety of their own homes. We wanted to find a groovy upbeat song that would help remind our young fans of the importance of staying clean while keeping them smiling. Our Junior members Thalia, Jade and Sloane who appear in this video expressed their obsession with the up-and-coming band Chromeo, and after checking them out we just had to turn it into a Squad Harmonix cover. It’s such a funky song and after adapting a few words to make it more relatable to a younger audience,  it’s perfect for kids.”

– Laura Saggers, Manager of Squad Harmonix

The track layers their talented young voices to create silky smooth harmonies and an infectious beat in this a cappella cover that does right by the name Squad Harmonix. With vibrant colors, clever visual transitions, and a positive message for kids to keep clean, this video is a fun reminder of how important it is to keep doing our part to ensure the safety and health of those around us.
