London singer-songwriter Alice Ray has shared the video for her new single, ‘Lost In The Dark’, the title track from her upcoming debut EP, out on November 27th
Featuring stunning choreography which provides an emotive and touching visual interpretation of the track’s message, the video sees two characters interact as they navigate the complexities of their relationship with each other. An infectious and expressive exploration of how relationships can have a profound effect for a moment before life moves on and starts again, the track has already been met with support from BBC Introducing.
“The music video for ‘Lost In The Dark’ is a dance led narrative,” explains Alice. “I wanted it to be alive visually, to utilise my background in dance and choreography and to follow the journey of this couple as they communicate through movement. The video features some beautiful scenery as the song has a strong link to nature – ‘let’s wait for a moment, let’s sit on the grass’ – I wanted to represent the beauty of the relationship at its peak in its surroundings.”
