The saga continues. French Montana unleashes a new single and music video entitled “Double G” [feat. Pop Smoke]. Get it HERE. Watch the video HERE. The song sets the stage for the impending arrival of his anxiously awaited (CB5) C.O.K.E. Boys 5 (Creation of Kings Everywhere) mixtape, releasing soon.

“Double G” rides over a skittering beat towards a hypnotic hook from the late and great Pop Smoke as he exclaims, “I’m a Double G. Please don’t trouble me. Tearing up drill-ed out production, French pulls up with his signature CBflow and a dangerously catchy melody as he chants, French and Pop Smoke blowing smoke.

For as hard-hitting as the song may be, the accompanying visual showcases one warm memory after another of these two titans together. Previously unseen footage shows them cooking up magic in the studio, on stage, and even playing ball back in New York City. The track expands upon the incredible chemistry between French Montana and Pop Smoke, building on the momentum from the likes of “Welcome to the Party (Remix)” and “Okay Okay. Now, “Double G” provides the perfect tribute to Pop Smoke by illuminating his personality as well as his talents.

“Artists like Pop Smoke come through once-in-a-lifetime, said French“He was all heart and one of the best rappers of this generation. He left us way too soon, but I know he’s looking down on us with a smile. I’m doing CB5 to make him proud!”
