Chanel West Coast has released the new music video for her latest single “Heaven’s Calling”. Directed by Pat Clark Productions, “Heaven’s Calling” showcases Chanel in a church, pairing heavenly visuals to a song filled with defiance and strength.
The video follows the release of her debut album, America’s Sweetheart, which features collaborations with the likes of Too$hort, Dreezy, Anaya Lovenote, Salma Slims and Porcelain Black, as well as production from the likes of Rich Skillz (credits: Nas, Chris Brown, Robin Thicke, etc.), K.E. On The Track (credits: Rick Ross, Future, DJ Khaled, etc.) and ISM (credits: Chris Brown, DaniLeigh, etc.).
As part of the album release, the former Young Money signee is donating a portion of proceeds from streams to the REFORM Alliance, the criminal justice reform organization co-founded by Meek Mill, Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter, Philadelphia 76ers partner Michael Rubin, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and others.
America’s Sweetheart is the culmination of years of hard work since she originally dropped her mixtape, Now You Know, in 2013 that included collaborations with Snoop Dogg, French Montana, Ty Dolla $ign and Robin Thicke, among others. Lil Wayne decided to take Chanel under his musical wing after she played a couple songs for him while in a studio in Miami.
