What does a day inside your shoes look like?
Lately I’ve been getting up early going to the gym and working out. After that back home to smoke on only some of the finest cannabis from Los Angeles and eat breakfast. After that its usually meetings or studio sessions until I head home to San Fernando Valley. I’m always working because I also have a successful clothing brand which is a lot of work. So wether its new designs or a new song I gotta push the grind don’t stop.
What is the most challenging thing you have overcome in your life?
The most challenging thing that I have had to overcome so far in my career or life in general is being locked up in Federal Prison where I had little to no contact with my friends and family. I missed the feeling of making music and recording in the studio while I was locked up, but I’m out now and couldn’t be happy to get back to making music as well as running my own clothing line. Another tough period in my life was when my father past away while he was incarcerated in a state prison. We didn’t get to see him as a family before he was gone and its something weighs on me heavily.
Do you produce your own music? If not who do you work with?
Currently I produce some of my music and co-produce with platinum producer DJ Pain 1. We have a very good connection and he knows how to produce to fit the sound that I am going for. When him and I create a track it is certified to be a hit. I’m also always on the lookout for new hot producers you never heard of on YouTube and Beat stars. There is such a wide array of talent out there that I’ll work with anyone who has a killer beat.
