NuBreed who is the Front Man for Vital Signs UK hailing from the rainy City of Manchester England. Nu Breed’s third track, ‘My Story’, from his mixtape Imprint was awarded first place and $10,000 in prizes in the Anno Domini Song Contest. The competition has been running every year since 2006, but Nick Shahlavi (who performs as NuBreed) is the first ever winner from outside the US. His is also the first Christian rap song to be awarded the top spot. Following the win NuBreed then went on to appear on BBC introducing performing an acoustic of ‘Putting in Work’ from the vital signs album ‘Starving Hearts’ and has performed at Manchester’s Apollo for over 2500 people , Newlands stadium south Africa in front of 20,000 and many other key events in the UK.
Now Vital Signs is following up with his new single ‘One Way’. This trappy/hip hop infused song is fresh hard hitting and, tells Nu Breed’s story with top tier wordplay over a big laced Bass and cluncking Keys along with an aggressive style flow and punch. The song reflects on Nu Breed’s past, being involved in crime leading to recognising there is a better way than the way he was headed.
