Serena Ryder is thrilled to release her new single “Waterfall” along with the music video featured on Under the Radar.
“Waterfall” is the second single from Serena Ryder’s upcoming album, The Art of Falling Apart. The 10-track, 25-minute project chronicles Serena’s years of struggle with mental health and her journey from mental illness to wellness. “Waterfall” is about the importance of crying. Serena describes the song:
“I have so many feelings that I have swallowed, and they add up, coming out one way or another – often by bypassing the truth, getting angry, defensive, even masking with partying or bad relationships. I’ve found that tears are actually the best way to heal, because we actually release healing hormones when we cry. I’d love to normalize crying, and this is a song about the many times tears have healed me.”
This is the second step on the journey to learning The Art of Falling Apart.
With each single from her upcoming album, The Art of Falling Apart, Serena will release a remix featuring a special guest artist. She recently released her collaboration with Adria Kain on “Candy” and her remix collaboration for “Waterfall” will be the legendary icon Melissa Etheridge on October 30th.
The remixes will be packaged into a special release along with the album in early 2021.
