It’s not every day that you hear of an artist releasing more than one track at once. However, when they do, it’s mostly in the form of an EP or an Album. So, obviously, someone dropping six different songs at once will steal the show, make headlines, and amaze the audience. Of course, the audience still has to listen to the songs to understand the value of the releases as music is not about quantity; it is absolutely about the quality. In El Segundo, CA-based producer-songwriter Matt Sumen’s case, the quality, and quantity come together. The artist recently presented his new songs separate from one another but released together. Each of them is unique in their own way, in the genre they fit in, and in the perfect mixes the artist approached boldly.
All six releases have rock elements in the core, but the defining genre of each is completely different from the others. For the releases of the six beautiful masterpieces titled “Hold Me, Love Me,” “Let It Roll,” “Silly Songwriter,” “All I Want,” “Critical Rescue,” and “The Covid-19 Fix,” Matt worked with dance, R&B, pop, blues, rock and roll tunes, fitting them into his own signature sound and creating soul-stirring melodies.
Only an artist experienced and professional enough like Matt Sumen could start and finish a complicated project like this, as to make something as big as these releases; raw talent is never enough. The creator’s hard, dedicated work and devotion are evident in every detail.
