10 Things You Didn’t Know About Lil Pump

If you have been anywhere near the rap scene in the last couple of years, Lil Pump is probably an artist that you have heard a thing or two said and written about. With a (well-earned) reputation as a troublemaker, the Gucci Gang rapper is no stranger to controversy. Made famous overnight by the release of his hit single “Gucci Gang”, Lil Pump has a reputation for fast living, regularly getting into scrapes with the law involving guns, drugs and women.

In this article, we will take you through a list of a few things that you almost certainly did not know about an artist who has quickly become the biggest badboy in the whole music industry.

  1. Estimated Net Worth

If there is one thing that Lil Pump is not, that is modest. His persona and musical style are built around the fact that he has money and he is not afraid to show it. And the brag is not without reason – in his short career so far, Lil Pump’s net worth is estimated to be $8 millionaccording to einsiders.com. That’s a sum that is guaranteed to keep growing as his popularity continues to surge and he manages to stay out of too much trouble.

  • Real Name

The artist we know as Lil Pump was actually born under the real name of Gazzy García in Miami to Colombian immigrant parents.

  • The Denmark Episode

Lil Pump was arrested by Danish police in 2018 after a show in Vega, Copenhagen for possession of marijuana. During the arrest, the rapper live-streamed himself flipping the middle finger at one of the police officers. He was subsequently fined between $700-$800 but was then banned from re-entering the Scandinavian country for the next two years.

  • Firearm Misdemeanors

  • Cars

Despite the fact that he cannot actually drive, Lil Pump makes no secret of the fact that he owns a Porsche, a Rolls Royce and a Ferrari. It is unclear why the rapper owns these vehicles, although perhaps he plans on getting some lessons in the future.

  • Soundcloud

Lil Pump can thank the free music streaming site Soundcloud for his rise to fame. The service kickstarted his career in 2016 when a track produced by friend and music collaborator Smokepurpp on which he freestyles shot to prominence. In 2017, Lil Pump released two more tracks, Boss and D Rose, which received an incredible total of over 70 million hits. Following this, Lil Pump signed lucrative deals with Warner Bros. and The Lights Global.

  • A Few Tattoos

Lil Pump has enough tattoos to make the average grandmother choke on her dentures at the kitchen table. All in all, he has 25 of the things, many of which are located on his face and neck. Among the most striking ones are a sad face between his eyebrows, a rocket ship under his left eye and a set of skulls on his neck. At this rate, he isn’t likely to have any untattooed part of his body left by the time he gets to 30!

  • Lil Pump Didn’t Go to Harvard

Despite the fact that one of Lil Pump’s albums is called Harverd Dropout, Lil Pump never went to Harvard. In fact, the rapper infamously got expelled from high school in tenth grade for fighting and inciting a riot before he had the chance to graduate.

  • Learning Difficulties

Lil Pump has mentioned numerous times on social media and in his song lyrics that he has dyslexia and has great trouble reading and writing.

  1. Kanye West Video

Whether you like his music or not, there is no doubt that he is going places fast with his supercharged brand of music. It is likely that we have heard the last of the kid who has risen from nothing to become one of the most recognizable faces in the industry today.
