2019 Ohio Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, Richard Lynch, maintains a strong presence with every single and album he releases, and “He’ll Make Everything Alright” is the latest in a string of them including others reaching the country music Top 40. And what a way to be introduced to and be able to recommend any musician that way, because it proves you can be popular and still go missed by avid music fans. I stood at attention to Lynch on this single for that and many other reasons upon discovering a great country artist in the process of it all.
“He’ll Make Everything Alright” almost sounds like a protest song or something of a political statement while it is on most minds of the day, but it’s nothing of the sort when you listen to the words or watch them on the screen. This is a song of faith, a song of hope and a song of freedom for all to relate to and help unify with, rather than a statement which any title can confuse. Country music is wholesome for the most part unless it is outlaw country, and Lynch is steeped in the finer traditions of country music but does dabble in some outlaw country.
Lynch is no stranger to the industry, he is a member of The Independent Country Music Hall of Fame, and he is a Billboard Magazine Emerging Artist. He is also the host of “Traditionally Lynch,” airing on TV and radio, and he is the founder of the Love Tattoo Foundation for veterans. A man of such means and yet the public by and largely doesn’t pay any mind in this day and age but one can be a local or even a global legend to those who actually listen to and appreciate music and that is a sign of the times which he musters.
With a lot of songs in his catalog and what seems to be a lot more coming, it could just be that soon enough I will look around and see his name everywhere, which is usually the case when something good reaches my way. “He’ll Make Everything Alright” is a nod in the right direction for what are some very hot charting singles since May, and they even include some guest vocalists. None of that here, it is all Lynch, but it leads the way to his other stuff, and it comes highly recommended for country music fans.
I like “He’ll Make Everything Alright” for its positive message, and Lynch for his impressive background and musical chops for which he is very well respected, but I was not previously aware of. If being a local and independent country music Hall of Famer and recognized around the world by radio stations, Billboard and the higher places does not turn’s ears, then good music to back it can always take comfort. “He’ll Make Everything Alright” is a cheerful way looking up when things are down and finding they are not so bad if you have some faith and gratitude.
