GFRIEND announced via their global fan community Weverse and official fan cafe that their new studio album 回:Walpurgis Night would be released on November 9.
It’s been four months since GFRIEND’s last EP 回:Song of the Sirens was released in July this year, and 22 months since the last studio album Time for Us in January 2019.
The new studio album 回:Walpurgis Night is the final episode of the “回 series” that tells the epic of GFRIEND’s growth, and it will show new attempts by the act that haven’t been tried before.
回:LABYRINTH heralded the prelude of change, followed by 回:Song of the Sirens that showed a definite change, and finally 回:Walpurgis Night will lead GFRIEND to the pinnacle of change.
回:Walpurgis Night, like the previous works, has been created through a collaboration with Big Hit Entertainment’s superb producer team along with GFRIEND’s expanded participation in the album making process, and, thus, is expected to show off the act’s much matured musical capabilities.
Highly acclaimed for their solid storytelling and irreplaceable performances since their debut, the new studio album comes on the heels of high anticipation of what new sides GFRIEND will show next.
Pre-orders for 回:Walpurgis Night are set to begin on October 19, and more details can be found via Weverse and official fan cafe shortly.
