JOSH LEVI Releases “Don’t They” Video Featuring NORMANI

Budding talent Josh Levi recently released his debut project, Disc One, and today, he unveiled the video for “Don’t They” featuring Normani, as Wonderland unveiled their current issue with Levi as the digital cover star. The alluring video is renowned photographer Blair Caldwell’s directorial debut, who also recently shot Levi for this cover.

“’Don’t They’ is about chasing after what love used to be, what it was before the world lost it,” said Levi. “I wanted to showcase black love and how it’s still alive and possible. We’ve felt so much pain this year, but this is my celebration of love and strength and collaboration. Normani helped me tell this story and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else.”

Although his name is relatively new, Levi has already accumulated a respectable fanbase, including the likes of Justin Beiber,Billie Eilish, and Chloe x Halle, and that base keeps growing since the release of Disc One

Disc One is a full body of work that encompasses Levi’s extensive love of music, and seamlessly fuses Pop, R&B and Rock over a bed of dramatic, electro beats. To tease this project, Levi released “If The World,” a song he wrote in response to the current state of the world.

The accompanying video was shot in his room on an iPhone with the help of his sister. “I remained isolated, remained quarantined. I wanted to create something that still had an aesthetic that was authentic to who I am, so that’s why I was inspired by like early 2000’s and 90’s vintage vibes,” Levi explained.

Levi followed up with a second video for “Know Better,” one he titled, “A Film On Anti-Regret, Conflicted Feelings, Heartbreak, And Outcasts,” which further showcased his equal talent as a dancer. The highly stylized clip was also shot on an iPhone, all during quarantine, and quickly racked up views and support.
