GARRETT PAKNIS releases hard hitting Halloween anthem “HAUNTED”

Armed with passion, love, mystery and his signature style, GARRETT PAKNIS is back with a new, powerful and intense track. With its big, memorable, and in your face synths from the beginning and throughout, ‘HAUNTED’ is the Halloween banger of 2020.

“I wrote ‘HAUNTED’ quite literally because that’s how I felt while living in Berlin, Germany after a failed relationship and having the hardest time letting go of this love.” PAKNIS says. “Writing this track gave me an extra layer of healing, and even though I’m speaking about being haunted, I feel like making this project allowed me to leave that phase of my life in the past.  It was extremely cathartic.” he also shares.

Featuring elements of electronic, dance and garage music, ‘HAUNTED’ has the perfect combination of hypnotic, danceable sounds and relatable lyrics that will strike the audience with a wave of emotions.

Simultaneously powerful and vulnerable, ‘HAUNTED’ reminds us that relationships require a perfect balance of love and freedom to prevent passion from turning into obsession.

“It’s sort of like this song represents an intoxicatingly powerful, consuming, painful yet beautiful time that existed – and you can be transported there in this song but still dance and feel so damn alive while listening to it because of the production style.” PAKNIS says.

Straight from New York City and slowly but surely taking over the European electronic music scene, GARRETT PAKNIS has been “moaning poetry” into microphones since his teenage years, and brings a soulful energy to his house-infused dance music which contains raw and vulnerable, conscious lyricism.

Returning with renewed energy and passion, PAKNIS will once again take his listeners on a spiritual journey through his unique beats and vocals.
