Henok Yeshanew belongs to a conventional immigrant family from Ethiopia. When we hear about conventional families, we automatically imagine parents who decide everything for their children, especially their career. They choose only the top three professions and then let their kids have “freedom of choice” between those. Same happened with our Henny. His parents gave him the choice to be a doctor, engineer or a lawyer from which Henny chooses to be a lawyer.
When he got admission in a Law college, he realized there are many other things to learn in this world and many other professions to adopt. He then started exploring and selected Digital marketing as a career. He already loved to connect and communicate with people there. After three years in university, he burned the midnight oil to achieve success as an entrepreneur anf form one of the best companies.

- Be Patience
Every path of life requires patience to cross it. Same goes for entrepreneurship. You will face challenges, hurdles, hatred, critics and more commonly doubts and fears of getting profit and not loss. But do not let these negatives overcome your mind. Give your mind relaxation and stay calm no matter what. In an interview, Henny said that keeping his mental health good results in achieving these successes. So, put the determination above all and strengthen your will.
- Give Time
Sometimes things take much longer than you expected. Do not worry and give yourself and things time and you will see the positive changes yourself. Remember, Henny does not achieve this all overnight. Obviously, he had worked hard three years and more to attain all the accomplishment.
- Build a powerful team
Henny motivated team work in almost every interview. In one interview, he said that “A team is like a multiplier of performance. “ With a team, you can easily tackle bigger things and cover up weak points and accomplish the result sooner. So as long as the team is well managed, you can achieve your goal easily.
- Encourage others
Encourage means to allow other teammates to make decisions, accept them and act on them. Every person’s imagination is different and hence has different creative ideas. This will make your project more ideal and creative and automatically produce positive aspects which can lead to 10 times better performance for everyone. Remember one more thing, do not only encourage your teammates but also those who are struggling beside you.
- Focus on your skills
An ideal entrepreneur is one who gets his/her hands dirty persistently in solving problems. Get involved in lower end tasks to focus and maintain the main core of the problem. Update yourself regularly.
