Today, R&B artist Luh Kel dropped a soulful new music video for “Want You” featuring Queen Naija. Directed by Sam Brave, the video is a mini-film from the heart, showcasing the tender sensibilities that Luh Kel has come to be known for in his music. “Want You” is a first taste of Luh Kel’s upcoming debut full-length album, L.O.V.E., slated for release this year.

The visual presents Luh Kel surprising his ex (played by model Robbie Lee Ann) with a song as he attempts to win her back. Luh Kel is unguarded and vulnerable, singing lyrics like “it ain’t nobody else that have my heart / I was bleeding ‘til you healed my scars,” as he bares his heart on the stage. Queen Naija also features in the video as a performer, serenading the two as they reunite.
“’Want You’ mixes the passion of loving someone but the pain of not having them,” said Luh Kel. “It’s me at my most open, so I knew that I needed a video to show that. Queen Naija added some spice to the song, so I knew it wouldn’t be complete without her in the video, too.”
