Saahil Bhargava Releases New Single “Plug In Baby”

Saahil Bhargava is originally from New York, but has lived in London and Mumbai before calling Los Angeles home.

After performing in front of a crowd as a young boy, he was hooked and knew he would pursue music.

Saahil enjoys telling stories and exploring interesting concepts and emotions. All of his songs tend to be stories about characters going through emotional experiences or intense moments.

He is musically influenced by a range of artists such as Freddie Mercury, Bono, Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell to Radiohead, Muse, Keane and My Chemical Romance.

Being a big fan of Muse, Saahil wanted to create his own interpretation of the 2001 song “Plug In Baby,” taken from their sophomore studio album, Origin of Symmetry.

He found a way to capture the vocals with his voice, while still being true to the original song. Being fascinated with the lyrics, he felt the song is very relevant today with how “plugged in” we all are.

Saahil is currently working on an EP, which will be a collection of short stories, but as individual songs—each one from a unique perspective from a different place.
