Interview with Founder of Upcoach- A Agency Focusing on Funnels And ADS For Coaches.

“When you do what you’re passionate about in a way that benefits your clients, it never feels like work! Plus, it’s profitable for them. Every other day I hear so many brilliant ideas coming out of aspiring coaches and course creators. The way they wish to impart their knowledge to help people progress is incredible. That makes me feel like it’s important to get their word out there to ease the lives of the common masses,” says Ajay Rai, the founder and CEO of Upcoach.

How did you get into the field of advertising? Does it resonate with your qualifications?

When I was in college pursuing engineering, I was really confused about what to specialize in. Some said learning JAVA is the way to go while someone said app development has opportunities on the rise. I wasn’t much of a nerd which added to the confusion. 

Amidst random opinions, I decided to dive into the world of SEO and did an internship. Later, I started my own affiliate websites and started to promote CPA offers, one funnel away challenge and gradually gained knowledge of Facebook ads, funnels, and coaching niche. 

Why did you choose digital marketing as your vocation?

I don’t think the market of marketing is never going to experience a downfall. I’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember. Back in 2017, I started working with a wide array of coaches- business coaches, marriage coaches, relationship coaches, to name a few. Since then, I’ve been practicing similar ads and funnels to the point that I’ve mastered them. 

How did the idea of Upcoach come around?

I’m pretty confident about selling all kinds of coaching out there. But the issue was that I used to feel like I can give my clients a lot more if I have a team of experts instead of doing everything individually. Now, I know when I say that it’s not always about the money, it’s gonna sound cliched. So, let me tell you, I was already making some decent money myself. 

The sole aim of wanting to build a system was to provide the utmost benefits to my existing clientele as well as potential clients. Of course, making money goes hand in hand!

I took the plunge and started my own agency, thinking, implementing, and so on! The action-oriented approach worked. Focusing on the coaching niche helped me and my team to cater to a particular type of audience and build strategies accordingly.

How do you help coaches reach a wider audience and make recurring sales?

First, we nail down their niche by asking them some relevant questions. Then, we run omnipresence ads for them. For instance, we run Facebook ads and then retarget the audience we think can benefit from them the most. 

One of the most effective ways we help coaches build an audience is by retargeting. You can see our clients everywhere! We’ve enhanced their digital presence to the point where the world can easily see how talented they are and what they have to offer. 

A person popping up everywhere gives out the message that they’ve got something really valuable to offer. To be precise, the client becomes a celebrity to them when they see them while browsing, scrolling, through the news feed, and so on. This is how we help our clients reach a wide audience base using a paid network.

What kind of clients do you cater to?

The first type includes those who have a proven funnel or some statistics to prove that an offer or a funnel is working. You must have also run some ads previously and need someone to scale your vocation.

Another type is a beginner who has just started out with no idea of how to go about funnel building. For them, we do the entire process from scratch. We create automation, set up social media pages, and boom! 

How long does this process usually take?

When we set up the entire thing, it takes about a month to generate results. From funnels and VSLs to copywriting and advertising, we cover it all. If there is already a proven funnel, the process can be quicker. 

What is your success Mantra for aspiring entrepreneurs out there?

Unlike popular opinion, you don’t have to be extremely different from the crowd to be successful. We’re not doing any rocket science over here at Upcoach. Don’t get me wrong, being unique has its own perks. But even if you can’t, you can follow the footsteps of someone who is already successful. 

So, if you’re able to absorb even 10% of the relevant information and implement it promptly, there’s nothing that can stop you from being successful. We’re doing the same thing! We follow their approach and extract what works for clients everywhere.
