Michigander Shares New Tracks “Let Down” and B-Side “48” on C3 Records

Michigander, the project of Michigan native Jason Singer, has shared two new tracks, the uplifting rock anthem “Let Down” and the folk-tinged B-Side “48,” as well as an accompanying video for “Let Down” directed by Matt Everitt. The single arrives a year after releasing his Where Do We Go From Here EP, on C3 Records. Since then, the talented songwriter’s profile has continued to rise, generating more than 12 million streams globally and breaking into the Top 25 at AAA radio with the EP’s single “Misery.” He recently took the virtual stage for Lollapalooza’s 2020 live stream, opened for Bernie Sanders, and is now set to preview new music on Amazon Music’s Twitch Channel (9/17) and School Night LA’s Homeschool series (9/15), followed by an opening set at Mt. Joy’s Chicago drive-in show later this month (9/25). Listen to “Let Down” and “48” HERE.

Jason Singer says of “Let Down,” “I usually get my hopes up about most things in just about every situation in my life. I tend to dream big and usually feel pretty down when things don’t meet my sometimes unrealistic expectations. I’ve been trying to be a lot more patient with life and just enjoy the journey.” And of “48,” “I wrote 48 during the middle of quarantine. It sort of goes hand in hand with Let Down. Revealing how I overthink situations and romanticize a lot of moments and interactions with people. It’s good to be able to look back and examine and I think this song does that”
