How Elon Musk Became One of The World’s Biggest Influencers

Elon Musk has undoubtedly made a name for himself throughout the world. After all, he founded a vast electrical car company that is Tesla. However, this isn’t his only triumph. Elon Musk made a name for himself from the giant marketplace that Is known as eBay. Musk also founded the following companies; Starlink, SpaceX, SolarCity, The Boring Company, OpenAI, Hyperloop, and Future of Life Institute. Now that’s a lot of fingers…in a lot of pies.

With this in mind, Musk appeals to a broad audience across his many businesses, allowing his opinions and ideas to be shared across all social platforms. Let’s face it, it’s only a matter of time before we’re all driving electric cars, and Tesla is undoubtedly a prominent name throughout the industry.

However, he still holds market dominance with his marketplace, eBay. This platform is literally everywhere, most of the big online shopping websites offer a PayPal checkout option, and the shopping industry is one of the largest industries in the world. PayPal has even branched out to the online betting industry, with CO Sportsbook accepting PayPal.

There’s no doubt that Elon Musk is talked about all over the world, and he’s very creative about the way he influences. He also has an Engineering Background, as-well-as being an industrial designer, which made him so enthused about the business idea of creating SpaceX.

One of the most common, undeniable facts is that Elon Musk is ever-present. Any ‘revolutionary’ matter being discussed, you can be sure that he has something to say about the topic. He’s forever Tweeting about things that have a popular plan, meaning people are quick to follow him or re-tweet his exact statements. He’s made over 5,000 Tweets, meaning he sends out a Tweet every day.

At first, to many people, he comes across as annoying, but people soon realize and wakeup to what exactly he’s saying. Sometimes he shares his ‘random thoughts’ on social media platforms, even if they aren’t necessarily related to any of his businesses, often including great attention. Some believe his ramblings on social media are clever marketing ploys to gauge his audience’s reaction to whether he can make money from his ideas.

His net worth is a testament to how influential his ideas are and how they’ve turned into lucrative businesses. He’s, of-course, holds a prominent position on the Forbes Rich List, making him noticeable in the world’s wealth category as well. 

Musk makes it known that he doesn’t hire people to do his marketing, and he doesn’t even believe in paid advertisements. Instead, he puts the money that could be spent on marketing back into his businesses/products and lets his audience do the marketing for him. Being one of the very first and only influencer CEO’s, Elon Musk has successfully turned his companies into shareable brands. These brands have attractive labels that have ‘must-have’ energy, and to this day, continue to be desirable luxury goods. Most of the products have become successful purely from word of mouth advertisement, making them highly desirable and more of a ‘flex’ type of purchase.
