West/Step announce sophomore release, “Peace Material”

West/Step is Nathan Whitman, a producer and songwriter based in Pittsburgh, PA. Peace Material is the sophomore effort from the musician that finds him settling into domestic life and looking to the future with bright optimism in seemingly dark times; a psychedelic folk record at heart. Love songs centered around life at home, built from repetitious samples, saturated synthesizers and motorik drum machines. It’s headphone music for a peaceful journey into the void.

Peace Material will be released via Wild Kindness Records on August 28.
