SINGLE REVIEW: Out Of Reach by Annamay

Ok, Annamay, why’d you have to go out and make us all cry like that! Oh man, her newest single “Out Of Reach” really tugs at the heartstrings of all those who listen to it. The lyrics, the melody, the synchronization of piano and acoustics is really mesmerizing to keep us enthralled within the musical heavens.

Now, with this being said, we do have a slight critique on some parts of her song. Annamay has a very beautiful voice that really goes with what she’s trying to say and how she wants to provide her melody to keep it in a very sad trance. The only part of the song we have an issue with is right in the beginning where she is trying to sing with a slightly deeper voice that she’s used to. Now, we are trying to just be objective because we do it for the love of the music, not the artist. The sound just does not sound natural to her and I’m glad she’s trying to reach new ranges but she’s going to have to work on it because it just sounds bad.

That’s not the way we expected it for it to start and it’s a really bad start but the rest of the song really shows her talent and where her vocal range truly shines. We do this to try and help artists to get better and put out music that they’re truly capable of. It’s a lovely song that does need some work and by doing so, I believe she can turn it around and keep tugging at our heartstrings for a very long time.

If you don’t think my criticism is valid, please listen below and let me know what you think!
