Brixton artist Santino Le Saint today shares his new single ‘I Know’. Seeped in Santino’s signature moody atmospherics, ‘I Know’ meets melancholic melodies with hip hop sensibilities. The new drop finds Santino desperately trying to break free from the clutches of a toxic relationship.
‘I Know’ is taken from Santino’s forthcoming Blue Pill EP set to land on 28th August, a two part Matrix-Inspired project with the second installment, Red Pill, dropping later this year.
Speaking on the release, Santino said –
“I wrote and produced “I Know” as an honest confessional about toxic relationships. It’s about telling someone who loves you that you’re not the one for them and that loving you is a bad idea but despite this they continue to pursue you. I’ve been working on two projects called ‘Blue Pill’ and ‘Red Pill’ that embody two sides of a person’s love life. ‘I Know’ is the lead track on ‘Blue Pill’, which is a project characterised by ignorance, partying and being selfish in love. In contrast, ‘Red Pill’ looks at love and pain in a more honest, vulnerable, self-reflective and forgiving way.”
