Drawing inspiration from the likes of Sigrid, Sara Bareilles & MUNA, 2AM perfectly encaptures Bryony’s trademark, dripping with attitude, lyricism. The intoxicating synth hooks and a punchy vibrant drum lend real bite to 2AMs message of post breakup independence.
Produced by Joe Cooper and featuring additional production and mixing from Jack Gourlay (Jess Glynne/Jack Garrett), 2AM is the breakup song you didn’t know you needed.
Bryony explains on the track: ‘2AM embodies that empowering feeling you get when you’re finally able to check out and disconnect your phone at the end of a relationship. I think we’re all guilty of losing a lot of confidence during a breakup and I wanted to write a song that showed coming out the other side of that and taking control again.’
