As the greed of the power ridden few shapes the dystopian existence of the many, we really need dissenting voices now more than ever. They do not come fiercer and more feral with a sound to match than Artificially Yours and the Essex three – piece have announced the release of a new eponymous track on 1-2-3-4 Records on the 4th of September 2020.
‘Artificially Yours’ is the eagerly awaited follow up to the band’s explosive debut EP ‘The Merger’ from last year and was recently recorded and self produced in their own studio and then mixed by Jagz Kooner (Sabres Of Paradise, Primal Scream). Available digitally at all the usual major outlets, the track will be accompanied by a self made ‘lockdown’ video that encapsulates the mood of these strange and uncertain times almost perfectly.
Prior to the release, the trio will perform a special live site from their headquarters in Essex on Friday the 14th of August at 7.30pm. The show will be available to watch exclusively on Facebook @1234events
Formed nearly eighteen months ago by lead vocalist Chat, Artificially Yours subsequently took shape with the addition of like-minded friends and musical collaborators Grumb and Ads.
The band’s instinctive and organic approach to their music together with an incendiary live show saw them attract the attention of critics and public alike and the aforementioned single ‘The Merger’ was picked up by the likes of Clash Magazine and John Kennedy at Radio X.
