CD REVIEW: Revelation by Lara Taubman

We have been longing for some really, really good American-style music and boy have we found it. We’re just going to have it continue playing until this year ends. We have a brand new album by Lara Taubman, “Revelation”, which represents a rite of passage that she has gone through, physically and spiritually. That’s the type of journey she wants to take us on so that we can find our very own revelation.

Lara has had an instinct for a very long time and she intends to continue following her nudge, to use her music and lyrics as a way for all of us to get through our pain and trauma that we may have gone through in the past or currently. We all think we know who we are, what we are thinking, but do we really?

Now, brace yourself. As we state that this is a must-listen, we have to give the forewarning that it does contain some haunting lyrics and melodies that should appeal to a lot of fans, but can scare away other casual fans.

There’s always redemption after revelation, it’s up to us to take the next step into action.

Take a listen for yourself and see if “Revelation” is an album you can stomach. Listen to what “Lara Taubman has to say!
