  1. Hi guys, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Dr Duda: Hi 👋🏿 we are doing  great and it is by the grace of God we still doing what we love the most which is making good music together to spread positivity through our music and love.

  1. Can you talk to us more about your latest single “EVE”?

Dr Duda: Eve is one of the songs that talks about no matter what stress or complications you may face in life, know that it will pass in no time eg…if you work hard you will eventually become great in what you do. No great things come easy and obviously get on your knees and pray whilst  at it

  1. Did any event in particular inspire you to write this ?

Dr Duda: The fact that we’ve been through a lot as a Band together  for Ten Years of ups and downs along the journey we felt like we need to End this relationship, but we continued through all. So the inspiration comes from our mistakes and experiences.

  1. Any plans to release any sort of music video for the song?

MoT: Any plans to release any sort of music video for the song? Yes ! We definitely Working on Releasing A Music Video ,which is really exciting for us and our fans .

  1. The single comes off your new album We Made It – what’s the story behind the title?

MoT: The single comes off your new album We Made It – what’s the story behind the title? There are so many points that I can mention regarding ‘ We Made It ‘ but My Best One that I always like sharing is that We Made it to our 10 Year Anniversary as Mi casa  which is something that’s not easily achievable by most bands, We Made it also Symbolizes Love , positivity, hardship and A Great Union which is all found in our Music !!!

  1. How was the recording and writing process?

MoT: How was the recording and writing process? We enjoyed every moment of recording this album , I mean everyone brought their A Game to the table and we made magic ,I would also like to mention that this is probably our best body of work that we ever made within our 10 Year Journey.

  1. What role does South Africa play in your music?

J’Something: Its where we live, its a country filled with so much diversity and rich in history. At surface value you might see a lot of negative from the outside but when you dig deeper you see so much more. Music here is so much more than just a song … its a tool that has been used since the early days for expressing so many different emotions. Its a great place to be in, we are here in a time such as this to make a difference and to be apart of that from a musical perspective and a humanitarian perspective is a great honor and responsibility. In conclusion, South Africa and Africa as a whole tends to be at the core of our music making.

  1. Where did you find the inspiration for the songs and lyrics?

J’Something: This album, We Made It came straight from the deepest parts of our being. I really wanted to be honest, to not hide from my feelings just to create the ‘right song’. Most, if not all the songs are all extremely personal and ive learnt in the years of songwriting that authenticity is everything.

  1. What else is happening next in Mi Casa’s world?

J’Something: We are at the moment trusting the process, living each day as it comes and being as present as possible. The album We Made It has been such a blessing to us, and to so many. That is why we make music, so even though our world has been turned upside down, much like astronauts in outer space trying to adapt to the lack of gravity, here we are trying to learn the new norm. We carry  on with our mission, to use music to impact the world for the better. We are working on an interesting project to try and take this album to our people … holding thumbs it all works out. For now, please go and enjoy our labor of love, our hearts on a sleeve, the We Made It album is out now and ready for your ears and heart.
