EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Pyrame Releases New Visual For “Colours (à l’infini)”

Swiss producer David Naville aka Pyrame and his label Thisbe Recordings are an inspired take on Ovid’s Metamorphoses, a poem of two ill-fated lovers, Pyramus and Thisbe, barred from ever marrying given their families tumultuous history. Only communicating through a small crack in the wall of their adjoining homes, the lovers are doubtless in their unconditional love for one another. The musician centres his work with sound around four main themes: freedom, relationships, life and love.

Pyrame’e new EP “The Pace of Everything That Lives”, that is announced to be released on September 18th this year, is focused on projecting astral anomalies. The artist has travelled the globe, sampling and experimenting in order to develop his unique sound and perspective. He weaves a sonnet of substantial proportion. Adventuring into a more electropop and indie dance sound, Pyrame delivers four new intoxicating tracks.

Today we are premiering the music video for “Colours (à l’infini)” directed by Christiania Krueger and produced by the cosmic poet himself.

Pyrame is taking us with him on his lonely trip. In this journey the notions of time and linearity are falling apart. We are led through intermingling worlds bounded with by a delicate psychedelic glitch. The video is a complete experience with all the senses. You can feel the texture of the sound on your skin, it is like immersing yourself in music. It is full of close-ups, very dynamic, captivating. Focused on slightly distorted beauty and change.

Colours (à l’infini)” is the opening track from Pyrame’s upcoming EP. This track is a testament to sensuality. This has its clear reflection in the picture that couples with the transcendental notes of the composition. Multilayered, with a fantastic vibrating bass line, ear catching high hats, cinematic dramatical synths, and playful vocals is a definitely convincing invitation to listen to the whole release.
