The movie revolves around historical fiction and is adapted from the 1998 book lords of chaos. The movie is quite interesting since it is about black metal music. It’s basically about a teenager who wants to launch Norwegian black metal in Oslo in the 1990s. However, his quest results to be quite violent that’ll leave you speechless for sure. Number 6: Amityville horror

Amityville horror is one of the most famous movies out there. I’m sure once you watch it, you’ll love it. So let’s get into the details about the movie: We’ve all dreamed of living in New York in our own beautiful house at some point in our lives but reality’s always found its way to shattering that dream. In this movie, a couple finds a beautiful new house in a small town in New York, but soon after moving in with their kids, they find out that the cheap price tag is due to the disturbing history of the house; the former tenant murdered his entire family after supposedly being possessed by the devil himself. Realizing their house is haunted, the couple finds a priest to rid the house of the demons. There go the dreams of moving to New York, might as well just sit in bed and watch this movie and give yourself all the reasons to stay exactly where you are because this movie’s not going to let you move your eyes away from the screen for even a second! Woah.

Number 5: Sinister

Do desperate times call for desperate measures? This story takes that to a whole new level and will keep your attention glued to the screen the entire time, and even make you feel a sort of personal connection with the characters. When a true-crime writer has been at his lowest and hasn’t had a best seller in over 10 years, he becomes increasingly desperate for a hit. He discovers a film showing the deaths of a family and vows to solve the mystery. His desperation causes him to move his own family into the victim’s house but when old footage and certain events hint the presence of supernatural forces, he realizes that living in this house might be fatal! Extreme curiosity and fear will linger around you as you lose yourself in the movie, a must-watch for mystery/horror fans! You’ll love every second of it!

Number 4: Paranormal Activity

Here we have another incredible movie ‘Paranormal activity’. We’ve all had times where we’ve felt like someone is watching us, or moving things around us, but in the Paranormal Activity, the couple becomes increasingly worried about a seemingly weird supernatural presence. They then decide to set up video cameras all around the house but are not prepared for the terrifying results that follow. This movie will feel like a true real-life experience on screen and is guaranteed to leave you paranoid, and you’re probably going to need someone with you wherever you go for the next three nights, to say the least. This incredible movie has been directed by Oren Peli. It stars Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat. I’m sure you’ll find it quite amazing!

Number 3: The Evil Dead

Planning a trip with your friends? I’d suggest you stay in bed and watch this instead because it’s going to convince you to do just that. When a group of friends hikes into the woods to a cabin for a night out, they discover an old book, which when read out loud, reawakens the dead. They unknowingly release a flood of evil and must fight for their lives now or become a part of the evil dead. Time seems to stop as you watch one guy fight for all of his friends as they each become possessed one by one and he’s stuck in a dilemma and can’t seem to make a decision. Open up your laptop and watch this movie for a great time! Ok, sure you’ll love it. However, don’t get too scared!

Number 2: Jessabelle

The movie ‘Jessabelle’ is one of my favorite movies. It has been directed by Kevin Greutert and has been written by Robert Ben Garant. It stars Sarah Snook, Mark Webber, David Andrews and many many more. The movie is quite an interesting one so let’s get into it. After facing a terrible accident that leaves Jessie wheelchair-bound, she moves to her childhood house only to encounter a spirit that refuses to let her escape. Imagine the creature from the worst nightmare you’ve had as a child, now imagine going back to your childhood house years later and finding videotapes that lead you to a secret where you see that every creature, in your own mother’s room. This movie is definitely not for the faint-hearted and will definitely make you feel all sorts of ways about your own childhood house, and you’d probably never dare to go anywhere near.

Number 1: The Winchester

Create a picture of the most haunted house ever in your head, it probably can’t beat the one shown in The Winchester, which lies on an island fifty miles outside of San Francisco, built by Sarah Winchester, heiress to the Winchester fortune, stands seven stories tall and contains hundreds of rooms. To the outsider, it seems like the portrayal of a mad woman’s madness, but the true reasons behind building it are far scarier than what is perceived by everyone. Sarah’s built this monstrosity as a prison, an asylum for thousands of vengeful ghosts. This movie is far scarier than what you could imagine, and that is the reason it’s number one on our list.

Grab your popcorn and watch the movie you’ve loved the most! Don’t get too scared since nightmares can be a real pain!
