SINGLE REVIEW: Shine (Red House Mix) by Grapefruit Sound Lab

We absolutely love remixes here, and when we get our hands on something so mesmerizing and enchanting, we want to share it with all of your right away! We all know Gina Volpe’s hit single, “Shine”, but this great remix by New Jersey-based Electronic music innovator Grapefruit Sound Lab completely shakes things up and puts us in a trance of emotion and a breath of new life. This new sound was just released last week and it’s already blowing through the stream charts – we’re seeing them shine right before our eyes.

“Shine (Red House Remix)” is another exciting collaboration of Grapefruit Sound Lab that shows no limits and no holding back. Just with the single bass groove in the beginning of the song is already transforming what you know about the original. The pulsing electro beats combined with Gina Volpe’s sultry vocals really turn this entertaining listen into a dark, alluring alternative pop sound that tells a story.

Hold what you left behind and we’ll see you shine through – then it breaks down to show the true colors of who we really are. The past and the present turn us into the future persona we want to encompass. GSL have shown their true nature in this remix, are you ready to show yours?

Take a listen to Grapefruit Sound Lab’s “Shine (Red House Mix)” and fall into the abyss of dark alternative pop.
