Spectoral Drops New Single ‘Fade Of Grey’

Having conquered the music scene on his home turf, Melbourne-hailing Spectoralis ready to break new ground with his ubiquitous blend of electronic pop.

Since launching his career in 2016, the revered producer has garnered praise from national radio stations such as Triple J Unearthed, earned a place as core committee member of Beat Collective, and collaborated with notable Australian heavyweights.

Tim Watt & Tim McArtney (Golden Features, MUTO), Ben Feggans (The Kite String Tangle, Ngaiire), Sebastian Ivanhov (Alius), Blake Malone (Amy Shark), Robin Waters (Darling James) and Alex Braithwaite (YVNG JALAPEÑO, Alison Wonderland, Slumberjack) are among the names Spectoral has added to his impressive rap sheet.

Spectoral has continued to attract talent during his trajectory, now enlisting the help of co-producers Julez Jadon & SVRN,mix engineer Blake Malone(Amy Shark) and mastering engineer Ben Feggans (Flume, Cut Copy, RÜFÜS DU SOL) for his brand new single.

Evoking the sound of artists like TheWeeknd, Partynextdoor, Joji and GoldenVessel,FADETO GREYis possibly Spectoral’s most chart-friendly hit to date, combining the songwriting tropes of modern pop music with the sonic hallmarks of electronic music to create a summer hit in waiting.

Speaking of the new track, Spectoral says: “Fadeto Grey is a desire to break out of the monotonous, greyscale, repetitive life you’re shoehorned into. Study, work, eat, sleep, rinse, repeat… and all the ultimately pointless trouble we stress over that really nobody remembers in the end. The things I remember most viscerally, the things I look forward to the most, are the pure moments of summer escapism, the moments that are in true colour. That’s what this song is about. Staying true to myself, getting back there, and taking you all with me.”
