Interview With MobBeatz

Hey MobBeatz, How are you?

Great, thank you guys for having me!

What is your biggest achievement?

My biggest achievement yet is being signed to a record label for a single deal. I got signed with Wovie in Turkey which is a sub-label of Universal Music. I released my single S.O.S. featuring a popular Turkish rapper, Kubilay Karca. We’ll have many more achievements to come.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

My biggest inspiration is my friends and family back home. I’m working hard everyday just so my family can be comfortable. I want to be the biggest rap star to come out of Istanbul, Turkey. And I will do that for sure.

Where do you see yourself in 1 year?

I asked myself the same question last year and wrote down all my goals to accomplish. Thankfully, I crossed off every goal in my list. In the upcoming year, I want to have triple the fanbase I have now. I want to set up a mini tour in Turkey and the U.S.A. and tour around the world. Needless to say, we have a packed 12 months ahead of us.

Where are you from?

I’m originally from Istanbul, Turkey. I came to New York when I was 8 years old. I graduated elementary and middle school here and went back to Turkey for high school. After graduating, I moved back to New York. It’s been quite an adventure but I’m thankful to have seen the best of both worlds.

How old are you?

I am 20 years old. I will be 21 on October 4th.

Are you working on any projects?

Always working. Tons of unreleased music. We have an album coming at the end of the year and about 3-5 singles before that.

who’s your top 3 greatest of all time / dead or alive?

J. Cole, Drake, and JuiceWrld

What are you in this industry for?

I’m here to make music, have fun and at least leave one classic for the world to listen to.

How long have you been making music?

I’ve been producing since I was 14. I started rapping at 19 years old. Due to my knowledge in production I also make all of my beats.

What’s your next move?

My next move is to keep pushing MobBeatz as best as I can.
