Hi guys, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?
Hey, thanks for having us. We’re really excited about our “Underwater” release! Great to celebrate with you.
Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Underwater”?
We love the track because of its groovy drum sound and the moody, slightly detuned piano. And because of the beautiful feature with super talented singer Margret. Beside that, we shot the Single Cover on a little road trip along the North Sea coast.
Ki Records is the perfect fit for this track/our music and we’re very happy to work with them together as part of their family!
Did any event in particular inspire you to write this song?
Yes, we had a great studio session where the idea was born. Then the track was in our demo library for some months until we realized that it needs vocals to get finished. After playing the song live, we noticed that this is a special song for us.
What made you want to focus on Denmark?
We’re fascinated in the northern landscape for long times and get inspired by many artists of this area.
Any plans to release any sort of video for the track?
Yes, we made a live video performed from ‘Island Fortress Wilhelmstein’, Steinhuder Meer. That was an outstanding show for us and we’re happy to share the track from this wonderful location.

How was the recording and writing process?
We had a writing session in our studio. Marius came with a cool drum beat already and Jonas jammed on the piano till we had a rough structure. As already mentioned, we recognized that we need some vocals in it and wanted to work with Margret for a long time. She flashed us with her performance directly and it was a pleasure to work with her.
What role does German play in your music?
The German electronic music stands for a big variety and openness. In Germany are so many artists that inspire us and the audiences here gave us the first impulses that we are creating something special.
Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?
Yes! “Underwater” is the first single for our upcoming EP “Pure”. Of course, before the EP release, there is more to come and we’re excited to share it with you.
Any tentative release date or title in mind?
Our EP “Pure” is coming on the 9th of October.
Any plans to hit the road?
Yes! We just played our first gig after the long pause in our hometown Hanover. Also, we have some dates and requests in the near future, that we’re going to release on our social media.
What else is happening next in pølaroit’s world?
We’re happy and excited about the next releases and the upcoming shows. We’re sure it will be an amazing feeling to play the whole EP live in front of people. And of course, we’re still working on new music – maybe for an album.
