Celeste Krishna & Monarchs release ‘Wanna Be’ via Audiofemme

Celeste Krishna & Monarchs premiered Wanna Be, the first single off her forthcoming full-length album, My Blue House, on Audiofemme. Well suited to this period of collective trauma and social isolation, Wanna Be is a piano ballad about a time of trauma, feelings of entrapment, and the healing power in self agency and self love. It has the power of today’s best songs, from Adele’s “Someone Like You” to Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved.”

During promotion of Wanna Be, Celeste will be fundraising for The Loveland Foundation which provides financial assistance to Black women and girls seeking therapy.  Participants will receive an exclusive “Come on, Come on and Kooz Me” koozie – a play on Celeste’s song Come on and Move Me after donating a minimum of $12 via paypal.me/celestekrishna or Venmo @Celeste-Krishna.  Celeste will announce the total collected & donated on her newsletter,  IG & Facebook.
