The Driver Era offers dreamy escape, even just momentarily with new release “Take Me Away,” out everywhere today via BMG Recordings. Listen HERE.

Known for genre-bending preferences and a diverse style, brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch take us away on their new single with floaty, electro-pop synths alternated with laid-back beats, keys and electric guitar reminiscent of a West Coast summer. Languid vocals and long instrumental verses make this track perfect for uncertain times– an enticing escape into both the past and a future just beyond reach.

The song is among the duo’s new tracks for their project Cache that will continue to release for the remainder of this year. It follows the band’s duo tracks “OMG Plz Don’t Come Around” and “flashdrive” released in spring 2020, following the postponement of their world tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Driver Era World Tour has been postponed with dates leading into summer of next year. Stay up to date on tour information and updates by following the band on social media.
