Top CBD Products Being Used in the USA

The USA has no shortage of CBD products. Partly for it has to do with the fact that CBD is mostly legal in nearly every state bar a few. All of that has made CBD very popular and 33% of Americans have tried it according to a survey.

CBD is a compound of cannabis (cannabidiol) and has been used in traditional and alternative medicine throughout human history. Some people are fairly new to CBD, and that’s okay since we’re currently getting into the cannabidiol rush.

The legalization of cannabis in the United States helped shed light on what cannabidiol is, what it can be used for, and how to safely use it.

With all that said, CBD is a very safe compound, even safer than THC, and doesn’t cause any mind-altering activities in the brain.

Unlike THC, CBD doesn’t get you high and is excellent for treating epilepsy, stress, depression, anxiety, pain, and lots of other conditions and ailments.

Now that we’ve familiarized somewhat with it, let’s talk about the top CBD products being used in the USA.

·       CBD Buds

The most popular CBD product in the United States is the good old bud. Much like cannabis buds that are rich in THC, there are also buds rich with CBD.

While in very few cases will the bud have no trace amounts of THC in it, the majority of the composition is made out of CBD. Usually, the amount of CBD in high-strains will be around 25%.

If you’re buying pure hemp, then the trace amounts of THC are around 0.3%. With that said, legal hemp might be better if you’re looking for pure cannabidiol buds.

Some of the best buds characterized as high-CBD strains include the likes of Grumpy Gorilla, Frosted Kush, Citron, Supreme OG, Special Sauce, and many more. All of these strains usually have around ~20-25% CBD.

·       CBD Oil

Probably the second most popular product on the US market comes in the form of oils. Oils are very practical and very safe when it comes to their consumption.

These products are also called tinctures, due to the nature of their packaging. Tinctures are some of the most discrete ways to take CBD and a great way to control the dosage.

This is especially helpful when taking high-CBD strains. Oils are meant to be taken orally and are generally low on THC. There are cases where the CBD to THC ratio is 1:1, but these are special oils made for those that want to enjoy some THC along with their CBD.

Tinctures come with a droplet that you use to drop a few drops of CBD under the tongue. You keep it there for 30 seconds and then swallow. This is the most common way you take CBD oil.

Another popular way to take CBD oil is to vape it.

·       CBD Gummies and Edibles

Gummies and edibles are becoming very popular with Americans, and for good reasons.

They’re most popular with younger people as it is a fun way to take your daily dose of cannabidiol. If you’re feeling under a lot of stress of anxious, simply pop a few gummies and you’re good as new.

With gummies, vaping or tinctures aren’t needed as they’re exactly what the name suggests. They’re just as discrete as tinctures and their usage is very convenient.

Edibles, just like gummies, require very little from us when it comes to taking them. A few other products do fall into the edibles category, and they’re just as good as the rest.

From chocolate to candy and even drinking water, edibles and gummies are rightfully one of the three most popular CBD products on the US market.

·       CBD Capsules and Pills

If you can’t be bothered to vape, eat, or drink your daily dosage of CBD, then a great way to take it is in the form of capsules or pills.

Capsules and pills are mostly used for medicinal purposes, as CBD is mostly a medicinal compound of cannabis. So, it’s only natural and convenient for those that aren’t particular fans of cannabis to have a way of taking CBD.

Like we mentioned, you don’t have to smoke, vape, eat, nor drink to use capsules and pills. You take them the same way you would any other pill or capsule.

Some of the benefits of taking these products is that they can be taken anywhere and anytime. They’re very easy to consume and very discrete.

There are no trace amounts of sugars nor calories when taking capsules and pills, and the dosage is very easy to measure.

·       CBD Creams and Topicals

If you’re not a fan of taking CBD in any oral way, then creams, topicals, lotions, salves, etc, is your best way of taking it.

Specially designed for skincare and wellness, these products are completely safe to use and even beneficial. CBD is regularly researched on all kinds of things.

One of the latest researches proves that CBD is beneficial for acne treatment. It’s skincare capabilities are touted as some of the best when it comes to acne removal and various other skin ailments.

Naturally, the skincare industry would take huge interest; and huge interest there is. There are all kinds of CBD products that focus on the topic of skincare.

You have creams, topicals, salves, and all kinds of skincare products to accommodate your daily skincare needs. Some are meant to be applied to a specific part of your skin, like lotions and creams, while others can be applied as a whole.

Various serums and ointments are capable of reducing inflammation, while salves are great for anti-aging.

Conclusion

With such a large selection of products available on the US market, choosing what works for you is solely down to you. But it’s safe to say that Americans have a bunch of ways how to take CBD.

The legal status of CBD has pushed for a lot of research on the particular compound. All of that has greatly contributed to making CBD an easily accessible product, with most dispensaries not even requiring a medical prescription.
