As fans scurry to find shows to ease their burden of this lockdown, it has proven to be a perfect time for many filmmakers to get noticed. The chance to gain a new fanbase has been binge worthy gold for many Indie filmmaker during this time of COVID 19.
Remote Station Entertainment released FALSE COLORS; a provoking action thriller that explores the possibility of what if?
The Indie Film written and directed by William Norton follows an international weapons inspector Ted Keller (Matthew Gilliam) as he discovers a deadly biological agent while working in Iraq. Crossing paths with Congressional aid Ileana Popescu (Lavinia Postolache).
Keller quickly finds his life in danger as he uncovers government secrets, cover-ups and conspiracies that questions the actions of those closest to him. He finds himself in need of help and implores Crew Chief Walker (Ernest Pierce) to help smuggle him out of the country in a C130 aircraft at any cost. Walker, a straight-laced soldier with a “let’s get it done attitude” is challenged with helping Keller because it is the right thing to do face the consequence of putting his family in jeopardy to assist Keller.
Pierce brings a charismatic approach to the character allowing the scenes to play out naturally and unapologetically. Pierce a Chicago native has a background in the Army Reserves, trained at Fort McCoy Wisconsin and auditioned/joined the cast in 2015 for the role of Crew Chief Walker.
Released on Itunes, Apple TV and Prime Video in April of 2020; the film brings to light relevant issues that questions and challenges many aspects of government control, international dealings and weapons manufacturing around the world. Sounds familiar? As we re-enter partial lockdown around the country, the film has been receiving great critic feedback stating the film is both cinematically well-done and is the perfect film for what the world is dealing with.
