Baltimore Rapper Leako Releases New Mixtape ‘Skinny Plug’

Rising Baltimore rapper Leako has released a new mixtape project entitled Skinny Plug which features eight hard-hitting tracks that highlight his personal experience, showcase his lyrical mastery, and energize the summer’s hip-hop music scene. Listen to the Skinny Plug mixtape here, available today on all DSPs and streaming services. 

The Skinny Plug mixtape features the buzzing singles ‘Vlade Divac’ and ‘Kim & Kanye’ which have collectively garnered more than 10,000 streams to date. Skinny Plug includes production by Jamil4x, 2Dirtyy, xLeek and Crank Central. 

“With Skinny Plug, I really wanted to showcase my growth as an artist and make songs that people can have fun listening to,” says rapper Leako. “ I’m going down as the greatest of all time. I’m a lion. I’ll be the king when it’s all said and done.”

The standout track “Dog,” produced by H2$, has received a visual treatment with an official music video that has also been released today. 

In 2019, Leako released his full-length debut album Upper Echelon, which garnered him buzz in the DMV area, Philadelphia and New York City, and helped garner him performances at Club Illusion in Baltimore and Club Bliss and Peace Lounge in Washington, D.C.

Leako is set to release his second full-length album in late 2020 via Destined For Greatness & Losing Is Not An Option Entertainment.
