PREMIERE: Water Tower Release New Music Video For “Town”

Today we are pleased to team up with Water Tower for the release of their new music video for “Town”.

About the song, the band comments

This song is about leaving Portland to come to Los Angeles, so naturally we filmed right outside of downtown LA, next to the beautiful Echo Park Lake.
The director of this video, Robert Zimiga wanted to capture the haunting weariness that the song exudes, which is demonstrated by his attention to details in the song that are then represented visually.

We shot this video all in one day while walking around the lake, with all our gear in a little red wagon.  His son’s little red wagon lol.

Originally this song was aided by Elliott Smith.

I remember Peter Daggatt playing the harmonium on this one and walking outside of Deer Lodge Studios in Portland to discuss the direction of the music in the rain.

Elliott Smith’s bike was in this backyard so we would sit on it for inspiration.

After sitting on his bike, we went inside and laid the track down.
