Newcomers Sanctioned Boyz Deliver Blisteringly Hot Single ‘Pull Up’

New York’s most exciting newcomers, Sanctioned Boyz deliver their first official single of 2020, the larger than life and insane ‘Pull Up’ featuring one of the most unique hooks we’ve heard this year. Mixed by London’s platinum engineer MSM Engineer (Skepta, Drake, Ed Sheeran) and Mastered by the renowned Joe Laporta (FKA Twigs, Young Thug, J Cole), this single is already ticking all the boxes for a certified summer heater.

The group coming out of Ditmas Park area of Flatbush, Brooklyn (or as they like to call it, Flatcush, Crooklyn), is comprised of King Groove, Tyson, Wubenz, Tada and Sobe who are all a part of the famous Crooklyn Crips, operating in the same neighborhood home to Bobby Shmurda and GS9. All growing up together, with some even growing up on the same block, Sanctioned Boyz are practically brothers, and are delivering some of the rawest music the streets of New York has seen for a while. The name ‘Sanctioned Boyz’ originated due to their heavy ties with London family members (based in South London to be specific), paying homage to Section Boyz.

“As we all know, a rose can grow from the concrete. This one just happens to be blue.”

The catchy, high pitch soulful melody courtesy of King Groove and the bars and of Tyson, Wubenz & Foxx are unmatched and hard to forget to say the least. With this latest single being delivered by a premiere on World Star Hip Hop, there is no doubt in our minds that this is set to do huge numbers, and with major labels already foaming at the mouth with comparisons to the likes of the late, great Pop Smoke, G4 Boyz and more. Sleep on Sanctioned at your peril.
