PREMIERE: Collect Call Release New Single “Rain:Stop”

The product of songwriter Joseph Thorpe, Collect Call combines sensitive songwriting with an electronic twist. Driving beats, euphoric synthesizers and emotive vocals combine as Collect Call invites you to dance through it, no matter how hopeless it may seem.

Influences include the Beatles, Radiohead, Talk Talk and Kate Bush. Rain:Stop is about being in love with somebody who is self absorbed and realising that they care more about themselves than you. It doubles as a play from the perspective of the protagonist mocking this big headed partner in a cynical way. Then the rain comes and washes away the wool they’ve pulled over your eyes.
