PREMIERE: Alt-Rock Artist Dusty Bo Releases New Single “Throw It All Away”

Today, we are pleased to join forces with DustyBo for the premiere of his new single “Throw It All Away,” a track that brings the southern rock sensibilities of The Black Keys with the upbeat fun of a Cage The Elephant for a great explosion of nice melodies and great vocals.

About the song, Dusty comments “The song could be interpreted in two different ways. One of them being very relevant to what’s happening in America right now with the BLM movement. ‘Throw It All Away’ – where ‘IT’ stands for hate; throw the HATE away! The other interpretation is on the same premise, stop picking out flaws in others and telling them to change them. This song will be one of many stories as a part of a concept album. Hope you dig it!”

He also adds “I’m really excited to be releasing this tune for a few reasons; one of them being that this tune was my longest to finish out of the songs to be released for this album. I wrote it about 7 years ago and made the demo on my iPad. It is the first “Alternative” style song I have ever written. Therefore seeing it come to life in a studio with actual recordings of the finger snaps at the beginning and experimenting with so many different guitar tones was the most enjoyable process.”

This southern Alt-Rock artist is formed from the desolate hills of Kentucky and the busy streets of Los Angeles. The music delivers passionate performances with edgy riffs, vocal prowess, and blues-charged guitar solos. The choice for Dusty has always been to never stop the pursuit of exploring the terrain in which he expresses best. With influences such as Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, adn Led Zeppelin, he processes the heart of a lifer that shines through in his delivery.

After cutting his teeth in his hometown of Louisville, KY with his southern rock band Bolt Action Thrill, he and the band moved to Los Angeles to become a regular name in the Hollywood/Sunset Strip rock scene. A few years later B.A.T. had come to an end and he joined the hard rock band Future Villains. With this band came international touring, recording at some of the worlds most sought after studios such as Sunset Sound & NRG Studios as well as selling out world renown venues in Hollywood including The Whisky a GoGo, The Troubadour and The Viper Room. In 2017 after parting ways from Future Villains he began his career as a solo artist.
