PREMIERE: Valencia Releases New Single ‘Out Of Line’

British-American pop duo, Valencia have long been making magic together, first having met during a summer program at Berklee College of Music in 2015 where a whirlwind romance began between the two singer/songwriters. Coming from different countries led them to explore other ways to stay connected during what turned into a long distance romance and they soon began making music together. After their return to Berklee together in 2017 to study and finish their degrees they began performing acoustic sets for audiences around Boston and the New England area and soon after they began their professional musical journey.

For their debut single ‘Light of You’, they worked with producer and artist, Ian Kimmel, getting over a quarter million streams just on Spotify. The follow up, ‘Chasing’, showcases the airy vocals and musical chemistry between California girl, Jadeyn Madsen and British heartthrob, Lou Courts. Unafraid to delve in their personal lives for inspiration, latest single Out Of Line explores the subject of closure on a relationship.

“The desire to be ‘out of line’ is about giving in to the temptation to reopen the door that’s already been closed, and just for one night, dive right back into the past to try and get some closure. In our writing process, we are really comfortable diving into our emotional past, and exploring past relationships. We’re always looking for those real emotional experiences and struggles; whether these be toxic relationships or simply two people growing apart and heading down different paths, we try and find recurring themes that we’ve experienced (and that we hope others can relate to) to base our songs around, as we hope to build an emotional connection with the subject matter.”
