IL 33 ELISA Kit and Its Uses

Interleukin 33 (IL-33) is a protein in human body. This protein is encoded by the IL33 gene. It is a member of the IL-1 family. This family is responsible for the production of Th2 associated cytokines in our body.

IL33 is expressed by various different cell types in our body. Some of these cells are.

  • Fibroblasts
  • Epithelial Cells
  • Mast Cells
  • Endothelial Cells
  • Dendritic Cells
  • Osteoblasts
  • Macrophages

This list indicates that the IL-33 has many vital functions to perform in our body.

Structure Of IL-33

IL-33 is an individual from the IL-1 superfamily of cytokines, an assurance situated partially on the particles β-trefoil structure, a preserved structure type portrayed in other IL-1 cytokines, including IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-1Ra and IL-18. In this structure, the 12 β-strands of the β-trefoil are organized in three pseudo repeats of four β-strand units, of which the first and last β-strands are antiparallel fights in a six-abandoned β-barrel, while the second and third β-strands of each recurrent structure a β-hairpin sitting on the β-barrel. IL-33 is a ligand that ties to a high-partiality receptor family part ST2.

The complex of these two atoms with IL-1RAcP demonstrates a ternary complex arrangement. The coupling zone has all the earmarks of being a blend of polar and non-polar areas that make a particular official among ligand and receptor. The interface between the particles has been demonstrated to be broad. Basic information on the IL-33 atom was controlled by arrangement NMR and little point X-beam scattering.

IL33 ELISA Kit is used in educational processes to test the functionality of IL33 gene and associated functions. This can help in diagnosis of various diseases.
