GANZ Nails Futuristic EP For Quality Goods Records

Firmly established as one of future bass’s bright lights is GANZ, who has had enormous success as a remixer for Flume, Alison Wonderland and Snakehips alongside his own sparky productions. With his new single “Rufio’s Theme” still playing in our ears, GANZ follows up the record with another five tracks under the Lost Boys EP.

An important return to his early inspirations, he explains: “I like to show people the stuff I’ve learned through the years and to stay true to myself. Sometimes it’s right to take a different path then others wanting you to choose, for me it’s all about lessons of life and personal growth. This journey made me insecure at times, asking myself “when am I making good music for my fans but also for myself?” I needed to go back to the essence of who I am, what makes me feel good.”

The atmospheric “UGH!” is a strong opener, and takes us nicely to the glinting melodies of “Rufio’s Theme.” “No Naps” is fresh and subtle with its technicalities and “Fairy Dust” is a self-confessed banger. “Lost Boys” completes the set with charming woven percussion and scattered riffs.
