SAINT RAYMOND RETURNS WITH THE NEW SINGLE ‘RIGHT WAY ROUND’

Saint Raymond is back with his brand new single ‘Right Way Round’. The track previews his forthcoming second album, which will be released next year via a new deal with Cooking VinylSaint Raymond has spent the past two years writing constantly, honing ideas in the studio and is excited to finally be able to share his new tracks with his fans. He’s also looking forward to being able to play live again in the future.

‘Right Way Round’ is a big synth, indie-pop anthem which also demonstrates the evolution in Saint Raymond’s sound. That stylistic progression is equally matched by the song’s lyrics, which explore a tangled state-of-mind. In essence: are those of us who are anxious, self-doubting or feel like outsiders simply reacting to the world around us as best we can? Or as Saint Raymond sings, “We’re not losing all control, we’re just learning how to float.”

“Right Way Round is about feeling like you’re on the outside, like you’re floating through life and it’s making you feel alone. But the more you scratch the surface and look around you, realise that there’s a load of us who feel like we’re different, on the outside and unsure of the future and that there’s beauty in that,” says Saint Raymond.

‘Right Way Round’ is released alongside an animated lyric video created by directors Bjorn Franklin and Johnny Marchetta.  The animations are by Alice Bloomfield and it depicts a man sat in an old-school pub setting. Several pints into a session and submerged in a cloud of smoke, he’s on course to drink someone under the table… even if it happens to be himself. Watch HERE.
