Since forming in 2018, Crawley-based trio TALU have hit the ground running with their animated indie tunes. Returning with the glistening new single “Take You Home”, the three-piece provide yet another kaleidoscopic offering.

Brimming with effervescent indie guitar licks and swirling drum beats, the single exhibits the band’s inherent talents. Interwoven with jangly melodies, “Take You Home” is doused in feverish electronica to produce an elegant slice of exaggerated indie pop encased in dizzying nostalgia.

“The song is about two people telling each other how much potential they both have,” explains vocalist Will Martins. “There’s a mix of sentiments and the song goes back and forth between the potential they have in their relationship and everything else they could do outside of that.”

Telling us more about the track’s creative process, Martins says: “”Take You Home” was written and recorded last year as part of a set of songs we wanted to track ourselves and then take to the team at Studio 91 in Newbury to develop and produce. We recorded the drums in a warehouse and everything else in our living room and kitchen.”
