Citing influences such as Damien Rice, Coldplay and Newton Faulkner, Jon crafts haunting and emotional tracks that tell stories listeners can relate to.
From his early days as a writer for alt indie rock band, Fish Dam Lane to his work as lead singer and guitarist with South Yorkshire band, Nowhere Near London, his sound was continually developing and, after spending time in New York in 2016, he wrote a raft of acoustic pop folk songs.
After a showcase at The Bowery, Electric, New York, Jon decided to venture to London. His first solo single release, “Stuck Inside My Throat” came out in 2019.
Jon explains: “The road is a song about my move from Yorkshire to London, I came to London to chase my dreams and I wanted to release a song with a positive feel during this frustrating time.”
