PREMIERE: The Haggis Horns Release New Single “Give It Up (Don’t Take Part In The Madness”)

The UK’s most in-demand horn section The Haggis Horns are ready to drop their fifth full-length “Stand Up For Love” on LP, CD & Digital this Friday May 22nd via Haggis Records, and to celebrate they are giving a sneak peak into the album with an exclusive stream of track “Give It Up (Don’t Take Part In The Madness”).

From the laid back clavinet and Fender Rhodes intro through to the straight eight groove, “Give It Up (Don’t Take Part In The Madness”) is a proper headnod summer jam. The legendary horns punch out those tight brass riffs over the grooving rhythm section, bass lines popping alongside funky guitar licks and sweet harmonized backing vocals. And over all this, Scotland’s current first minister of soul John McCallum lays his bluesy vocals down to great effect. A future summer soul anthem for sure.
