Ivy Flindt release ‘Give It A Break’

‘Give It A Break’ is the latest release from German duo Ivy Flindt, whose music bares similarities with  Dido, the National and Lucy Dacus. The video is a neatly constructed visual depicting stunning landscapes and split screen journeys.

Made up of Micha Holland and Cate Martin, Cate explains her decision to release the video:

“We chose the piece, of course, because it fits the current situation in that we are all confronted with something new that can also be frightening. And what do you actually do when a routine no longer works or simply fails? This also gives you the opportunity to reflect and find ways out or new ways.”

You can catch the pair at the Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg on the 9th of April 2020 and tickets can be applied for here.
