Sean Christopher announces new album ‘Wander’, shares video for new single ‘Indigo Blue’

Following on from the success of his stunning 2018 debut album ‘Yonder’, Dutch singer-songwriter Sean Christopher now returns to announce the details behind his highly-anticipated follow-up ‘Wander’, alongside the new video for his latest single ‘Indigo Blue.’

Animated by his brother Julian, the video for ‘Indigo Blue’ looks to emphasise the warm and wistful flow of his newest offering. Sticking to his usual aesthetic of lightly-played guitar and dreamy vocals, his new delight sweeps and swoons its way through a melay of heartfelt prose.

Speaking about the new video, he said, “The animation for Indigo Blue is done by my brother Julian. Back in the days, when we were kids, he always came up with film projects to work on together. Whether it was a stop motion action figure movie or an improvised play; he could create his own creative world. Indigo Blue was a nice opportunity to work together again. My brother has an authentic view on life and that was exactly what I looked for in this song.”

Adding about the song itself, “‘Indigo Blue’ is a song about love and how love can transcend everything. When I actively started to meditate, I read about Indigo; the colour of wisdom, intuition, perception and creativity. Virtues that will show us the way.”

‘Indigo Blue’ is the third single to be taken from his sophomore studio album ‘Wander’, following on from ‘Our Home’ and ‘Oheja’, which is set to be released on May 29th. Much like his previous full-length, this self-produced new material will see the frontman delve into personal stories and spiritual ideas through the guise of a humble and emotionally-led individual.
